Run for Relay

MRelay is THRILLED to make an exciting announcement: our first major event of the year will be....RUN FOR RELAY!!

Our annual race event will feature both a 5K and a NEW 1-Mile Fun Run course, as well as tshirts, food, speakers, vendors, free goodies, and more starting at 10am on October 9th in Nichols Arboretum!

Check it out and register now on Eventbrite:

Registration fees will be donated to the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society, fighting to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer one step at a time!

The largest student organization on campus needs YOU to design our new logo!

MRelay is opening its inbox to logo design submissions from now until October 1st. This opportunity is open to anyone who wants the chance to have their original design advertised on thousands of print and online materials every year. Your work could become the official face of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life on the University of Michigan campus for years to come.

The mission of MRelay is to fight for a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. We empower students to join the movement through outreach, awareness, and fundraising. Our success in numbers has catapulted us through the rankings to the second largest collegiate Relay For Life event in the world. Our branding needs to reflect our pride in our mission and our university, as well as our commitment to freeing the world from the pain and suffering caused by cancer.

Designs in .jpg or .pdf format can be submitted to and more information can be found at or by emailing! Winner will be announced November 2nd.

Want to get involved in Relay but don’t want to start a team? Or do you want to have more team members but don’t know how to find them?

Well then the Adopt a Participant Program is perfect for you!

This is a program that puts in contact members without a team, and teams who want more members! Just email with your name as well as some of the other clubs you're involved in! That way, we will work to find the perfect team for you to be on! If you’re a team interested in gaining new members, let us know how some of the team members were recruited, so we have some idea of the type of person on your team!

Don’t let the fear of not having a team stop you from working to end the fight against cancer!

Interested in joining MRelay this year? Sign up your team now, or join an existing team. If you have any questions or want more information, reach out to us at
