Cancer Fighting Week

GW FIGHTS CANCER WEEK!!
Monday, September 22nd
: The Mission (7pm, Elliott 113)

            Enjoy some food and hear representatives from each organization speak about their incredible causes! 

Tuesday, September 23rd: Late-Night Brunch with GW Dance Marathon (10pm-11pm, Thurston TV Lounge)

            Learn how to get involved with GWDM and come support the Children’s Miracle Network! #FTK

Wednesday, September 24th: Tie-Dye with Camp Kesem (4:30pm-6:30pm, Square 80)

            Come to the quad behind Guthridge and Strong to experience what it’s like to be a part of an incredibly special summer camp!

Thursday, September 25th: Relay For Life Hits Cancer out of the Park (7:05pm, Nationals Park)

            Take yourself out to the ball game with Relay of GW as the Nationals take on the Mets! Proceeds of tickets sold will be going directly towards our annual fundraising efforts.


 

American Cancer Society Relay For Life campus events serve as a powerful way for you to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer, from helping people facing the disease in your community to ensuring cancer is a thing of the past for future generations. The Relay For Life movement features campus and community events that offer an opportunity to honor the cancer survivors in your life, promote how you can reduce your cancer risk, and raise money to help find a cure. Today, with the support of thousands of student volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won't stop until we end cancer once and for all!
