I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th Holiday Weekend!
I wanted to let you know of a few updates for our area:
1) We will be holding another volunteer facilitator training on August 25th at our Virginia Beach office.
2) Licensed Cosmetologists or Estheticians can lead sessions (before it was only Cosmetologists)
3) We are actively looking for a Volunteer Coordinator for our LGFB program – (this person does not need to be licensed or involved with beauty at all) The main role for this person would be to help coordinate the facilitators for all of the sessions and to be the point of contact when you have any needs.

We still have time to ensure that our events meet the challenge of being CAN CLUB Relays! 40 Relays from each event ensures that status. A team can also be a CAN CLUB Team with 10 registered members – they get a special campsite flag to display at their event as well!
Looking for volunteers to help with our Relay For Life Event - Contact Sue Harmon at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. No matter if it's an hour or 40 hours!
HONOR scroll for the night of RELAY - Teams are asked to submit any names they wish to be displayed to Sue Harmon by May 10th. These are names of individuals currently battling cancer, survivors and or those lost to cancer
