Seattle Mariners vs. the Minnesota Twins: Join us on Saturday, April 25 at 6:10pm at Safeco Field as the Seattle Mariners take on the Minnestoa Twins! For every ticket sold, $8 will be donated to the Issaquah Relay For Life. Tickets must be purchased at www.mariners.com/relayforlife or at 206-346-4540 for the American Cancer Society to benefit.
The Luminaria ceremony is a way for Relay For Life participants, survivors, and caregivers to remember loved ones lost to cancer and to honor those who continue to fight. As the sun sets during our event, decorated Luminaria bags will light up the track, each dedicated to an individual who has been touched by cancer.
We have also begun collecting pictures for our traditional Luminaria Slideshow. Send up to 3 pictures of a person in your life who has been touched by cancer with a name and "In Memory of," "In Honor of," or "In Support of" to email@example.com to be shown during the ceremony! Please send all submissions no later than May 6th.
Lastly, participants: please remember to bring at least 2 cans of food to our next Relay Rally/Bank Night (5/4), which will be used to weigh down the Luminaria. All food will be donated to the Issaquah Food Bank!
The Midnight Mile:
Registration for the Midnight Mile is now available! Click here to get started.
The Midnight Mile is a fundraising event within our Relay For Life. Individuals are welcome to participate in the Midnight Mile without being registered for a Relay team. The Midnight Mile event is just that--the chance to run (or walk) a mile at midnight. Individuals who want to participate in the Midnight Mile need to register online (link above) and pay the $20 registration fee to the team "Midnight Mile," which, in addition to funding the fight against cancer, includes an awesome, limited edition 2015 Midnight Mile T-shirt! Registration day of event is also possible. The Midnight Mile starts at 12:00 am (midnight) on Sunday, May 10th and finishes once you've completed your mile.
High school Team Captains:
When registering your team, select your school under the 'company' drop down menu. Also, be sure to download and complete the required Youth Agreement forms and Chaperone Agreement forms for the event. Relay on!
