"Don't Gamble with Cancer" is the theme in Brown County for 2013 Relay for Life event. Our journey to end cancer starts with a single step. We invite you to come take that first step with us on June 7th @ Gordon Wood stadium @ 7pm-7am.  It's the final count down, a month away and so much to get done.  We have enjoyed and appreciated all the local businesses' donations, help with fundraising, spreading the word and being a great part of making this event happen.
*We still have room for TEAMS, VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORSHIP AND MORE! Contact us or register on-line.
*We are pumped about all the new Activities and Games our creative team came up with to include everyone of all ages
>>We are looking forward to another great Luminary Ceremony~IT IS ONE OF THE BEST AROUND~thanks to all that buy the sacks at $5 and decorate them for the event.  Contact Danette at Walgreens or swing by store to buy one and bring with you or decorate and drop back off to her.
We gathered over 4000 lbs of canned goods last year and would love to gather 10,000 lbs this year, so keep those canned good drives up till the day of RELAY.  We will donate all canned goods used during Luminary Ceremony to Good Samaritian
**We can't wait to watch all SURVIVORS AND CAREGIVERS TAKE THEIR LAPS to begin the night, Plus the new KIDS KICKING CANCER LAP FOR ALL CHILD SURVIVORS AND THEIR FRIENDS to take the lap together~
The free food will be Wonderful again~Hamburgers Cooked by Guardian EMS, Pizza Donated by Little Cesars, and Breakfast donated by What-A-Burger...And Coffee during the night-(which we are already looking forward to) by Jill Evans.
~We will have great music and announcing throughout the night by Barry and Carl Wayne from KOXE~thanks guys!
Silent Auction gifts are always amazing, Raffle drawings from different teams durning the night, and games at Team's tents will be fabulous.
**We will have a special VIP lounge for Survivors, Caregivers and the Seniors, as the weather is always so hot! You will have cold water and treats to snack on to help you keep your energy up, plus we will have plenty of medical staff on hand!
Please come walk with us!  We want people from all over Brown County there cheering on this great event from 7pm-7am.
Together we can Keep Calm and Relay On...One Step at a Time!
