Friends –

Here we are in the 12^th year of the Hamden/North Haven Relay for Life!  On behalf of the entire committee we want to thank all of YOU for your continued support and participation of this Relay. Our event grows larger year after year and this event would not be possible without the outpouring of kindness and generosity of our participants, donors, volunteers and sponsors.  Your dedication to this amazing cause continues to inspire our committee every day.

In one word, many would describe Relay as an “EXPERIENCE.”  I am grateful for a committee filled with truly motivated and dedicated individuals who make this experience possible.  We have many events and activities planned that run throughout the day including a DJ, Live Bands, Zumba Fitness, Karaoke, Kids Care, and much more!

The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. The American Cancer Society invites you to take that step with us by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.

FIGHT BACK through research! THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
