Memorial Day Parade– We will again be marching in the West Hartford Parade on Monday, May 27th. We will meet at Kevin Zoeller’s house (170 Woodrow Street) at 8:30 to decorate the Home Depot truck. We will leave Kevin’s house at approximately 9:30am to assemble on Farmington Avenue west of Newport behind Hwang’s Martial Arts. If you have any trouble finding us, please call Stephanie Sokolowski (860-977-6837cell).

Bank Night – Bank night will be next Wednesday, May 29th.at from 5:30 to 7:30pm in the library at Northwest Catholic High School. The purpose of Bank Night is to hand in any offline donations (cash and checks), to hand out shirts, and to answer any questions about the event. Team Captains are encouraged to attend if possible and other participants are also welcome. Remember, your team is eligible for one t-shirt for every registered participant that has raised $100 or more. If certain team members have raised more than $100, their donations over $100 can be allocated to other registered participants on their team to make them eligible for a t-shirt.

Registration fees, Luminaria sales AND Corporate Sponsorship all count towards YOUR fundraising total!!!

That's right, if you sell a luminaria or recruit a corporate sponsor, and once you pay your registration fee, it counts towards YOUR fundraising total! There is information on the benefits offered to corporate sponsors and luminaria order forms.

FIGHT BACK through research! THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
