Yankee Candle is partnering with the American Cancer Society to celebrate our 100th year of saving lives by creating a limited edition jar candle "Brightening Lives" with the Relay For Life logo on it.

YOU can use this as a fundraiser and get credit for what you sell.  Candles are $20 and you get 100% of the proceeds - yes, every dollar of that $20.  Yankee Candle is giving us the candles at no cost.  We have 300 candles to sell for our event, 250 of which we will be taking pre-sales for so it is first come first serve!  The other 50 will be on display and sold at Relay.  If you have any questions or would like to get an order form to sell for your individual fundraising, please contact Laura at Laura.Baran@cancer.org

Our next Team Rally Meeting in Thursday May 23, 2013. We will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. WE WILL BE MEETING AT MONUMENT MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL.  Watch your email for what room we will be in.  We will bring you the latest info, Rules and Regs, and all the nitty gritty details - this is our last Team Rally Meeting before Relay so be sure to be there! 

 WANT TO BE THE FIRST TEAM TO PICK YOUR CAMPSITE?

We have a challenge for you!  We will be having a grid system for campsites and you will definitely want to be among the first to choose a prime site!

How do you get in on the drawing? All you have to do is get your team registered, have your team member’s register, and raise $1,000 as a team.  The first team to do so will be the first to pick their site.  The second team will be second, and so on and so forth.  It’s that simple!  How many teams get we get to meet the incentive by Kick Off?

THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
