 Herceptin was the chemotherapy that saved my life.

Supporting Relay For Life can help you do that. I have had 5 birthdays since I was diagnosed with the deadliest form of breast cancer at the age of 37. I may not have been here to celebrate any of those birthdays if it had not been for the American Cancer Society seeing the potential in the new chemotherapy Herceptin.

I don't just want to raise more money for gas, lodging or wigs. I want to knock cancer out completely. So there doesn't need to be any more chemotherapy treatments or any more wigs worn.

FIGHT BACK through research! THIS YEAR ONLY, a Relay event in our area will offer the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
