Relay For Life is a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. These are just a few ways you can be involved with the Relay For Life of Hillsboro:

Sign Up Today
The American Cancer Society invites you to join the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.
Join us in the fight to end cancer and sign up today.

FIGHT BACK through
research! THIS YEAR ONLY, our Relay event will offer the unique opportunity to
participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3
(CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a
long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle,
environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread
the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website for more information
about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!”
Enrollment consists of a brief survey, informed consent, a waist measurement and a small blood sample. Participants then complete a questionnaire at home. After that, the Society will send follow-up questionnaires about ever two or three years to track personal health status.
You can enroll at the Relay For Life of Hillsboro on Saturday, June 22 any time between 11am and 3pm. Contact Amber Dickey; CPS-3 Chair at relayamber@msn.com or visit www.facebook.com/cps3hillsboro for more information on the Relay For Life of Hillsboro enrollment.
CPS-3 enrollment continues through December 2013 in communities nationwide. Visit www.cancer.org/cps3 to learn more about this study.
