The American Cancer Society is looking for at least three-hundred-thousand adults who want to make a direct impact in the fight against cancer. The Cancer Prevention Study-3 will pave the way for the next generation of cancer research. Together, we can understand what causes cancer and how to prevent it, so we can create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. If you’re between the ages of thirty and sixty-five, have never been diagnosed with cancer, and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study, you may qualify. Local enrollment is being made possible in partnership with Hannover Re, the Leesburg Regional Medical Center, the Villages Regional Hospital, the American Cancer Society, the Central Florida Regional Hospital, and the Osceola Regional Medical Center, with several convenient locations for interested and eligible participants to enroll in this lifesaving study. Visit www.cancer.org/CPS3 or call 1-888-604-5888 to sign up today. Together, we can finish the fight.

APOPKA'S CORNER:

The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. The American Cancer Society invites you to take that step with us by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.  Need comfort or support?  Call the cancer.org 800 number at 1-800-227-2345.

Join us on our Facebook page by clicking our link or search for us on Facebook at Relay for Life of Apopka.  Be sure to 'like' us to join the fun.  Post status updates to let other locals know about your upcoming events, share fundraising ideas and talk with other Apopka teams.  No Facebook?  No problem...  click on the links below to find out much of the same information shared on our Facebook page.
