No matter who you are, there's a place for you at a Relay For Life event. Each dollar you raise will help save lives. How far will you go to make a difference in the fight against cancer?

Your reason for participating in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is as unique and special as the story that motivates you. If you've been affected by cancer in any way, being part of the Relay event empowers you to make a difference and fight back. This is your opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost to this disease, and raise funds and awareness to help end cancer forever.

Be a part of History!

What if you could personally participate in research that could help determine factors that cause or prevent cancer? What if that research ultimately leads to the elimination of cancer as a major health problem for future generations? This year, the American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. And you can be a part of this historic research effort by by enrolling and encouraging others to enroll!

By joining CPS-3, you can help us understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives and give people more of their most precious resource: time. More time with their families and friends, more memories, more celebrations...and more birthdays.

Make a Difference

Every person who walks in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life has a reason for walking. Every person has been touched by cancer in some way, and each of us has a story to tell. These stories remind us that the Relay is more than just walking around a track. And your participation in Relay For Life is helping us make a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. By supporting a Relay For Life event, you help make the American Cancer Society's mission possible, and that helps us all move closer to our ultimate goal: a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
