The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. The American Cancer Society invites you to take that step with us by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.

WRAP UP MEETING: Wednesday, May 22nd at Glen Ridge High School Room 115 at 7pm.

CONGRATULATIONS ON ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL RELAY FOR LIFE OF Montclair/Glen Ridge EVENT. We raised over $85,000 in the fight against cancer and celebrated Life and Hope with 15 cancer survivors.Despite the weather conditions you made we had the most amazing time.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters for always making a way and never saying NO. Thank you the Montclair Kimberley Academy family for being so a wonderful host. YOU are the reason we were able to DREAM BIG in 2013.

Thank you to our neighbors for tolerating any disturbance we may have caused. Thank you to the Relay Planning Team for your time, talent and dedication throughout this season. You are our foundation and backbone.

Thank you Res. Ed for embracing Relay and share this experience with your residence.

Thank you to our wonderful speakers for sharing your stories of hope and courage. Your messages were powerful and will stay with us as we gear up for another season.

Thank you to our entertainers. Your talents never ceases to amaze us. You made our ceremonies all the more powerful.

Lastly, thank you to YOU, our RELAYER for your continued support as we work together to bring this disease to an end.

If there is anyone I have forgotten, please accept my sincerest apologies.

CPS-3 or Cancer Prevention Study-3

American Cancer Society CPS-3volunteers are saving lives. Our new volunteers follow in the footsteps of thosewho have helped us since the 1950s.The participants in those studies provided valuableinsights into the causes of cancer and the stepspeople can take to prevent the disease.

This year, our community will have the unique opportunity to participate in a landmark new cancer research study, Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). This is an opportunity for those of us (ages 30-65) who have never been diagnosed with cancer to actively get involved in efforts to help prevent cancer for this and future generations!

What’s Involved?
