        Last Minute Reminders for Relay For Life

Ceremonies/Registration

  • Registration opens on Saturday morning at 8:00 am
  • Opening Ceremony begins on Saturday morning at 10:00 am
  • Survivor’s Lap begins after Opening ceremony
  • Luminaria Ceremony begins at 8:30 pm
  • Luminaria will be sold up until 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 18th
  • Closing Ceremony begins on Sunday Morning at 9:00am

All activities should stop during key ceremonies: Opening, Survivor Lap, and Luminaria & Closing.

Survivors/Caregivers

  • Survivor’s Registration opens at the Survivor's Tent on Saturday morning at 8:00 am
  • Survivor’s Continental Breakfast at Survivor’s Tent begins at 9:00 am
  • Survivor’s Lunch catered by Olive Garden Restaurant at Survivor’s Tent begins at 11:30 am

 

Food

Bring some money:

  • Islands Restaurant will be providing Lunch & Dinner (hamburgers/chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and hot dogs)
  • Shave It, Dippin Dots, Jamba Juice and Kettle Corn will be available throughout the day
  • Lots of on-site fundraising activities for the whole family
  • Pancake breakfast served by the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks on Sunday morning at 7:00 am

 

Other Important Information

  • Pantene Beautiful Lengths from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Stage Area

®    Interested in donating your hair to help someone during the greatest fight of her life? All qualifying donated ponytails will be transformed into FREE, high-quality wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment!

  • Photo Booth will open at 11:00 am.
  • Dunk Tank will open at 11:00 am.
  • Recycling containers will be clearly marked – PLEASE RECYCLE
  • No pets allowed, except service dogs (with required paperwork and service jackets).
  • Please keep your campsite clean, and help by picking up trash when you see it.
  • Each team should bring at least 1 gift basket to raffle
  • Don't forget to bring can goods that will be donated to a local food bank.
  • Absolutely NO alcohol, drugs, or tobacco.
