Thank you for helping us Celebrate, Remember, and BARK BACK!
A VERY BIG THANK YOU goes to EVERYONE for your extraordinary support of the American Cancer Society Bark For Life of Pottstown! Saturday, April 13th was truly an amazing day at Memorial Park. Amidst the leftover mud from the rain the day before, the sun shone on everyone there. Bark is so excited to have this wonderful new home in our hometown-thanks to the Borough of Pottstown- all were unbelievably welcoming and helpful! There were over 350 well-behaved dogs and too many owners, families and friends to count! The total keeps going up but as of now, well over $50,000 has been raised for the American Cancer Society – WOW!!!
This is all made possible because Pottstown and surrounding communities are so dedicated with their support of the American Cancer Society. Special thanks to Pottstown Mayor Bonnie Heath for participating in the day’s activities. We are so very grateful also to all of the Relay and Bark teams who were a part of the day as well as the fabulous volunteers, sponsors, vendors, non-profit organizations and our 2013 grand marshal, Jim Knisley and his best friend, Emme. A big thank you to all of you! It takes everyone together to make a difference in the quest to have a world with less cancer and MORE BIRTHDAYS!
