2012 KICKOFF -- On January 23rd at 6:00 pm Relay For Life of Howard County will officially get underway as we gather for a kickoff rally to launch this year's event. The kick off will be at the Holiday Inn 7900 Washington Blvd. The rally will celebrate cancer survivors and their caregivers and will provide participants with important new information regarding the 2012, resources, excitement, and, of course, an opportunity to vote on this years event theme! Join us as we recognize the teams and participants that helped make the 2011 season a success. Tables will be set up with information about purchasing Luminaria, new team/participant Registration, and 2012 Volunteer opportunities.
GRAND CLUB RECOGNITION -- Congratulations to Connie Ballenger for being the first participant to become a member of the 2012 Grand Club. Congratulations also to Jim Piersall who has also become Grand Club member. Both Connie and Jim are members of Angles for a Cure relay team. We are pleased to announce that Cheryl Bell of Super Star Walkers has become the newest member of the Grand Club by reaching $1000.
