UPDATE: 4/14/10
IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION!!! The Denver Broncos Relay For Life will now end at midnight on Friday, April 30. The opening ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. Registration and day-of event sign-up will open at 5:00 p.m.
We encourgage you to bring your family and friends and join us until midnight in our fight against cancer.
Why are the Denver Broncos involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life?
As we strive to improve the lives of Coloradoans through youth, health, hunger and homelessness initiatives, the Denver Broncos are proud to support the American Cancer Society and thrilled to be a partner in the inaugural year of the Denver Broncos Relay For Life event on April 30, 2010.
What are the registration deadlines and guidelines?
There are three participation types: corporate teams (any business); community teams (families, friends, churches, neighbors, etc.); and individual registration for those not part of a team.
To sign up as a team, gather at least 10 of your co-workers, friends, family members, etc. and sign up online! Designate one of you to be the Team Captain and the others will sign up under your team. As this is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, we ask that each team raise a minimum of $1,000 or $100 per person. Check out the fundraising tips on the left menu bar for some great ideas!
Since this is such a unique and limited-participation event, we ask that you pre-register online for the Denver Broncos Relay For Life as soon as possible. To be guaranteed a commemorative event t-shirt, you MUST be registered by April 5, 2010. The registration fee is $25 if you sign up as a Team Captain or team member, or $40 as an individual participant. Children under 6 years old are free.
Are there prizes?
Prizes will be given for the TOP THREE teams in each category, with the following minimum fundraising requirements: Corporate teams: $5,000; Community teams: $2,500; Individuals: $1,000.
