How Can Employees Help Fight Cancer?
By forming Relay For Life teams at the local level, by volunteering their time to help at the event, and by carrying out fund-raising activities to support the American Cancer Society.

Where Does the Money Go?
The American Cancer Society provides funding for a wide range of services including research, education and treatment counseling for cancer patients, their families and medical professionals around the globe.

How Do I Get Involved?
Click on “Find an Event” enter your zipcode and sign up for a Relay For Life near you. Be sure to select UnitedHealthcare listed in the selection of National Team Program corporations. Please make sure you follow the naming convention that incorporates UHC when you are setting up your team as a Team Captain.

After Your Event
The Company maintains a "Dollars for Doers" program.  If you volunteer 30 hours per year, the Company will contribute $200 to an eligible non-profit organization of your choice.  Please visit https://unitedvolunteers.volunteermatch.org/ to record your volunteer time, including Relay for Life participation.  Also, email your brief stories and event pictures to unitedvolunteers@uhc.com
