138 teams and 1,717 participants have raised $355,403.80

There have been recent changes to Fire Code and criteria for anchoring canopies/tents. After many conversations with the Fire Marshall, all teams must make a “GOOD FAITH” effort to anchor their canopy/tent. SO, for those that are on the turf, this means being prepared with sand bags, buckets, milk jugs full of sand or water. Every leg of every canopy will need to be weighted down and pass the Fire Marshal inspection in order for us to pass and open our event on time. Fire Marshall inspection is at 10:00am on Friday. Sorry for this late notice, but this brand new information that was just passed onto us. We are trying to work through It the best we can. Thanks for your patience, and PLEASE don’t forget supplies to anchor your tents. For tents outside the track you may stake, but be careful of sprinkler lines. ~ Kristen

In the fight against cancer, silence is the last thing we need. Your local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is a great place to take action and make noise. The Relay For Life movement features community and campus events that offer an inspiring opportunity to honor cancer survivors, promote how individuals can reduce their cancer risk, and raise money to help end cancer. Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won't stop until we finish the fight against cancer!
